“[In 2011 we began utilizing] an area inside our home to keep food and toiletries in stock…and we would travel all over Michigan dropping off supplies to those that need them but couldn't get to us. In September of 2019, we discussed putting out a pantry in front so that those who needed assistance could get it at any time. I am disabled and my health is getting worse, so we are not able to travel all over like we used to. In March of 2020, we built a Pantry. We now have 2 Pantries outside and a couple of coolers! Many families come daily to either grab some supplies or donate back. Families can contact us through our Facebook Page www.facebook.com/OakParkGiftingPantry to pick up a few bags/boxes of supplies, as we use half of our basement to store supplies.”
